Why Maya exist

Maya’s Caring Touch was formed by Martha Proano due to the reason that she belongs to an Ecuadorian country in a south America, Ecuador. Having its roots to first-hand experience of violence abuse and mistreated women and children in that part of the world.

Her experiences as a teacher for more than 25 years in Ecuador let to understand how different women and children are abused or deprived of opportunities that are available to other women and children of different parts of the world because of the social system.

These conditions are further enhanced because of the corruption and transparency in different government sectors as well as the role of drug cartels and other gangs related entities from her country.

Through the  creation of Maya’s Caring Touch, she’s not only helping people in Ecuador but also in the vicinity; her mission in life is to be the torch barrier for the women and children’s right in South America

Maya’s Caring Touch only dream is to create a strong community of people helping each other with a kind and sharing heart, giving opportunities to those less fortunate who think no one cares. Her legacy will be for future generations to come and become stronger, having a simple meal, clothes for intimidating temperatures, health and education.
