What we do

Maya’s Caring Touch has many areas of action. The most important of all is to offer   sustainability to families all over south America in numerous sectors. Maya’s goal is to provide the economical means for the vulnerable sectors such as children and their education. There is a vast number of failures due to lack of money to attend school, the drop outs have increased immensely each year; those minors are working on the streets now, without any hope or opportunity of getting ahead in life and because of it, they become an easy target to drugs abuse or drug cartels who see them unprotected, unskilled and defenseless finding them as easy targets to recruit them for their malevolent purposes.

On the other hand, there are many women without education, skills or job opportunities who must raise families in a harmful physical and mental abuse, malnourishment, moral degradation, helplessness, trying to be brave enough to succeed. It is very difficult under these circumstances to accomplish a better future for themselves and their families. Maya’s decision is to end suffering with the help of many organizations across Canada.

Furthermore, Maya’s Caring Touch goal is to guide charities to reach their full potential giving them the skills, right tools and mindset to accomplish their own goals and with this, unite the resources to help those in need.
